African Travel, Business and Wellness Travel

I have been in the Travel and Tourism industry for over 25 years now.  Some of my first memories of travel are of my father taking me for a plane ride over Long Island in a friend's Cessna plane. I was around 5 years old, and I remember, once getting up in the sky, looking out of the window, trying to locate where my house was! I realized then that the world was so much bigger than I had ever imagined; Or driving alongside the beautiful Hudson River, on our way to the Adirondacks to visit our Friends' dairy farm; Or frequenting Jones Beach after hours when the crowds had left and wondering, "Who's all the way on the other side of this vast Ocean?"; Or hopping on a Subway going into Manhattan, and then taking the Staten Island Ferry to visit family. One of my most impressionable experiences, was when around 8 years old we went on a school trip to JFK and going into that hanger, gazing in awe at those huge aircraft.

I grew up 30 minutes from and in the flight path of J.F.K.  The planes flew low enough for us to read the name of the Airlines on the planes.  The Concord, luxury, high-speed aircraft, with service between New York and London, would fly over several times a week.  It was fascinating and sometimes annoying.  It was so loud and powerful, that we could hear it before it approached, and items in the house would vibrate.

Hence, I find myself in the very rewarding industry of Travel and Tourism.  As a Certified Travel Associate, I have extensive knowledge and experience in planning incredible and memorable vacations and itineraries.   I am pleased to announce that Legacy Travel and Tours LLC is a H.U.B and MWSBE Certified company in Charlotte, N.C.

"Wellness Travel" is currently the fastest-growing sector in the tourism industry.  We are assisting clients who are interested in travel that may include healthy food, movement in the form of yoga, fitness or other activities, some form of rest and relaxation, access to spaces conducive to peace and quiet, something to soothe the mind (time in nature, meditation, etc.), and a good night’s sleep.
